Send your documents today. See your completed return tomorrow. File when you approve. A virtual practice serving individuals and small businesses across a growing list of states — all by referral.
Three steps. Twenty-four hours from documents-in to a completed return ready for your review. The IRS doesn't see a thing until you say so.
Text them to my phone, message them to my WhatsApp, or email them. W-2s, 1099s, mortgage interest, charity receipts — whatever you've got. No portal, no app, no learning curve. I work with what's easiest for you.
I prepare the return personally and send it back to you for review. You see your refund (or what you owe) and you see exactly what I charged. Nothing is filed yet. You haven't paid yet. You haven't even given me bank information yet — and that's deliberate.
When you approve the return, you tell me where you want your refund deposited (or how you want to pay any balance). I file. Done. Same day, in most cases.
A note on banking and consent.
I don't ask for your bank information upfront. Not because I'm careless about it — because I'm careful. If I have your bank details before you've seen your return, I could accidentally submit before you know what your refund or my fee actually is. So I wait. You see the numbers first. You approve. Then we handle banking. Every step happens because you said yes to it.
Over the last few seasons I've prepared hundreds of returns. In a typical year I meet maybe one client in person, and two or so by video — Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp video. The rest — the overwhelming majority — never meet me face-to-face and don't need to. They text their documents, review their completed returns on their phones, and approve with a reply.
That's not a feature. That's the product. Charles Tax Group is a virtual tax practice that happens to be based in Orlando. Where you live doesn't change anything about how the work gets done.
Returns prepared for clients across a growing list
of states — all by referral.
Most preparers can't start filing until the IRS opens its e-file system in late January. I can. Through my partnership with Santa Barbara TPG, qualifying clients can file with me starting January 1st — and access part of their refund as an advance before the IRS even processes the return.
If you're expecting a refund and you can't wait three to six weeks for the IRS to send it, this is the option you've been looking for. It's the same return, prepared with the same accuracy. The advance is a short-term loan against your refund, available the same day, with no impact on your credit. When the IRS releases your refund, it pays off the advance automatically.
Who qualifies: Most clients expecting a federal refund. Final approval and amount come from the bank, not from me. I'll walk you through the options when we prepare your return.
Returns involving multi-state filings, prior-year amendments, or unusual situations — bring them. I prepare them all the time. If a question is genuinely outside what I should be handling, I'll refer you to the right specialist rather than fumble through it. That, too, is part of the standard.
